How many different Buffett I've seen live

Tonight I decided to make a master playlist of all of the concerts I've seen Jimmy in. From 2006 to 2011 Ive seen him 2 a year for a total of 12 shows. These shows were in VA, CT, MA, TN, IL and IN. I justed happened to live near all of these places when the shows happened.

The best guest I've seen with Jimmy was in Nashville when Kenny Chesney showed up (They sang Where I come from and come monday). I also saw Fingers Taylor do 5 songs with Jimmy at Nissan Pavilion in 2007 and was at the show when the Blackhawks came out with the Stanley Cup.

However, I'll never forget my first show. It was 8.10.2006 (I joined BN after this show that night). I worked at Great Woods that summer and was in the lawn off toward the side at the wheel chair ramp. It started to pour that night and Jimmy didn't take a break and played right through. It was over 2.5 hours the he closed with just him and sang pirate at 40.

But the total different songs was around 100 different ones. I think thats pretty good because it shows things are chnged up some what.

The best thing is I have the audio from all of the shows I attended becasue of the great people on this site who record the shows (mainly sun lover)

I'd try and do that but I have a hard time remembering what I had for breakfast let alone a concert from 1978.

There are some highlights that shine through.

I have been to over 20 shows and there have been a lot of great moments, but one that immediately comes to mind is Buffett singing Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy with the Tams in Atlanta.

We' ve been to 15 shows since 1998 but the one that stands out would be the Sept. 11th 2001 show in Noblesville, IN that was postponed to the 25th? It was about 40 degrees when the sun went down. The crowd didn't mind and Jimmy played the most heartfelt show I can remember.

Jimmy did a free show at the Phoenix Air Races back in the '90s. By the time he played it was 30 deg cooler than the daytime temp and the wind was blowing 30 mph right at the stage making it very hard to hears the music. I was with a large group of non-parrotheads and had to take a the $60 taxi ride home from the air field because they all bailed on me.

Best show ever was the Montessori benefit my Dad and I went to shortly after 9/11. The crowd was about 300 max. My Dad and I had 5th row on the aisle. It was the most amazing setlist a hardcore fan could dream of.

I remember my Dad and I coming back from the intermission with about 30 people in the crowd. Jimmy came out and sang "Havana Daydreamin'" (If I remember correctly). He said, "Don't worry...I'll start playing. They'll come back quick." Great song, but it was funny watching everybody trip over themselves to get back into the show.
