NCAA FOOTBALL 2012

Post by Dr.Corona »

Okay College football enthusiasts, we're less than a month away from kickoff 2012.
Trying to plan this years "roadtrip" as last year I was on hiatus after watching Jason's Carolina Gamecocks smackdown the Crimson Tide in Columbia SC in 2010.
Looking for anyone who may have ticket connections to any of the following games:
Lsu at FLORIDA
Wisconsin at NEBRASKA
West Virginia at TEXAS
Clemson at FLORIDA STATE
Tennessee at GEORGIA
Doesn't matter if your connections lie with the home team OR the road team, I'm just looking for good seats at a fair price to 1 of those 5.

Not that it necessarily means much, but here is the Pre Season
USA Today top 25

USA Today Poll
1 LSU
2 Alabama
3 USC
4 Oklahoma
5 Oregon
6 Georgia
7 Florida State
8 Michigan
9 South Carolina
10 Arkansas
11 West Virginia
12 Wisconsin
13 Michigan State
14 Clemson
15 Texas
16 Nebraska
17 TCU
18 Stanford
19 Oklahoma State
20 Virginia Tech
21 Kansas State
22 Boise State
23 Florida
24 Notre Dame
25 Auburn

Others receiving votes: Washington 64, Louisville 46, Georgia Tech 35, Cincinnati 32, Texas A&M 28, Baylor 23, Utah 22, Mississippi State 21, SOUFLA 12, NCSTATE 11, Louisiana Tech 10, Brigham Young 10, Virginia 9, Houston 7, Southern Miss 6, Rutgers 5, UCF 5, Tennessee 3, Missouri 3, FLAINTL 3, Northern Illinois 2, TEXASTECH 1

My Wolverines pull in at an overrated #8, where does your team check-in?

3 weeks and counting!

Already made our hotel reservations in Indy for the B1G Championship Game! :D Hey Ken, should the Wolverines make it, you should totally go! We could hook up for a beer! Have you had any luck with the tickets yet? I'm keeping my eyes/ears open for ya... Good luck!

On, Wisconsin!

I'm ready for some Aggie football!

I'm sure we will be the whipping boy of the SEC for a few years. Maybe we will surprise everyone and only loose by a touchdown or two.

I know, "a beer" just sounds so much better than saying "a case of beers"! It's real no secret we're all a bunch of lushes over here in the land of beer & cheese!

I hope it works out so you can go on your road trip! Do you realize how much easier it would be if you guys just followed the Wolverines to away games?

Along with Missouri. I can't believe they went to the SEC. I guess they don't want to win for a while.

Good grief! My #26 Huskies open at #1 LSU, 3 weeks later host #18 Stanford, the next week go to #5 Oregon, and then have #3 USC at home.
That's 3 of the top 5 (and 4 of the top 18) teams in the first 6 games! I'd be happy with a split, but they may surprise some folks this year.....

Strength of schedule is nice..........but you've got to win a couple of those games for it to matter.

EDIT... I misspoke, they open with San Diego State and then travel to LSU. They face BYE the week before Stanford.....

Well A&M will get better in a few years. I still haven't figured out how Missouri got an invite. No offense folks but this is not the big 12 north, this is serious football. When they a school says "But but but ...we have a great basketball program" they get sent to the little table with Kentucky. Its not nice but hey its the way it is. Only one way to end this.

In all seriousness if your a college football fanatic (and why else are you still reading this thread if your not???) you need to flip your XM or Sirius off of Radio Margaritaville Monday through Friday between the hours of 2 and 4 Central Standard Time and flip on the Finebaum Show (Sirius Channel 91 XM Channel 91). Feel free to call in as much as I love the SEC brand of football its refreshing to hear from the outlands too.
