Why? Anything specific?
Let's see, he has tried suing season ticket holders for breach of contract, raised prices on pretty much everything, has tried to run the team like it's a fantasy football team. He is like the anti-Midas.
Huh. I guess I always heard about Shanahan's crazy over anything else.

Given where you live(d) how are you a Redskins fan? Just wondering.
Shanahan's fine. Dan Snyder is the problem. When Ravi say's he raised prices on everything, he'd tax you on the air you breathe if he could.
I'm pretty sure he built a fences around some parking lots so people could not park in a free lot down the street and walk to the stadium without going the long way around. He'd sign people because of their name, not because they were any good. We overpay people by ridiculous amounts. He bought a couple of dinky radio stations with no broadcast power and put the games on them instead of leaving it on a station which everyone over the DC metro area can hear. The team is a giant f'ning slot machine for him. He may care, but he has really not seemed to show it in the past. He was a kid in the dc area in the 80's and loved the team; he made a boatload of money in the 90's and then bought the team.

Now, I will say that the past year, he has left football operations to people who know the game and got rid of a yahoo (Vinnie Cerato) who was relatively clue-free. So, there maybe some hope.

He finally has heard the fan base, and let's hope it is permanent. AND this is what the problem is with Jerry Jones too. He thinks he knows more about football than he actually does. Even though he MAY have been the GM during their run in the early 90s, I think he listened more to the people who know more about football than he did.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Last time Redskins beat Giants on Monday Night Football was game in which Joe Theismann had his leg broken by Lawrence Taylor. Still can't watch that clip... [smilie=puking.gif]

The Redskins have been downright awful on Monday night games. Nice to see that change. And yeah, that was bad. watching the game last night, one of the Giants O linemen had his knee bend a way it shouldn't and he was carted off the field. It wasn't as bad as Theismann's leg but still gave me the heebee-jeebees.

At least they didn't keep showing the replay of the Giants' lineman getting injured. When Theismann's leg was broken it seemed like they showed the replay about 10 times to make sure everyone watching had time to go puke.

I live 60 - 70 miles from any big city. My ffl team name has been In the Boonnies Parrottheads.
Also, want to say, I know there's a lot of folks out there saying that Andrew Luck is the best QB this year. I think it's RGIII. He brings so much excitment to a game.

Can't argue the excitement RG3 brings but he would barely scrape the top 3 for MVP voting (if it were held today).

1. Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Aaron Rogers

Not sure why anyone with 17 TDs and 16 Ints is the best QB this year. Luck is good. But his stats scream rookie mistakes.

The usual suspects.

Well, I wouldn't say RG3 should be MVP but he does have some impressive numbers. According to Yahoo sports, he's got the 3rd best QB rating, 5th best passing pct, pretty decent td-int ratio (17-4) and has only lost 2 fumbles. However, he has fumbled 10 times and is near or at the bottom for passing attempts, completions and yards per game.

I don't know the criteria for MVP but he has done an amazing job with a team that has swiss cheese for an offensive line and short, no name receivers.

That is because most of the time he throws 2-3 yard passes -and if he continues to run around like he does -he will be just like Vick is now -he is young so he can take the hits but it won't last very long

First off . . . RG3 is awesome. Andrew Luck is the player I find quite overrated (17 TDs with 16 Ints).

Secondly, MVP voting is strictly subjective. If I had a vote the above 3 QBs are those I find to be the best (Brady, Manning, Rogers). Overall MVP voting would go like this if my opinion mattered :P

1. Brady
2. Aldon Smith
3. JJ Watt
4. Peyton Manning
5. Doug Martin
6. Aaron Rogers.
7.Von Miller
8. Charles Tillman

Not sure if I would put Peyton Manning in the MVP list, even though he is having a good year. I wouldn't be surprised if he is Comeback Player of the Year though. Even though it may seem that I am biased (yes dp an obvious statement....   ) I think I would add RG III in the MVP list just because of the reasoning is where would the Redskins be without RGIII.
