This season is ending up the way I remember the majority of the games this season. Down to the frickin' wire.

I've never hated Washington as much as I do right now.
I knew this girl made of memories and phrases, who lived her whole life in both chapters and stages.
Danced 'til the dawn, wished all her worries away.

She's a long way from a West Nashville grand ballroom gown.

Sorry to disappoint you dude but Seattle is intending to win out and get the wild card at least.
Now, I didn't say that the above scenario was going to happen. I don't think it will but wow if it did. I think Seattle will split their last two games.
I believe they will win both, they have been ripping it up in the second half of the season. Just look at the last two games alone.
True. But they were playing against poor run defenses (and average to good pass defenses). That's not to say that both the wins wern't impressive, because they were. Their next two games are against statistically better defenses. But hey, anything can happen week to week.
A statistically better defense (the number 1 scoring defense) held the Seahawks to only 42 points. And the Seahawk defense held the '49ers to just a pair of field goals until there was less than 2 minutes remaining in the game. The Seahawks combined score for the last 3 games is 150 to 30.
Sounds like y'all are enjoyng Russell Wilson as much as we did in Wisconsin!

We can still get in. We just need to beat the Eagles and then have the Bears, Vikings, and Cowgirls all lose.

Well, speaking on behalf of the Green Bay Packers, we'll do our best to take the Vikings out of the play-off picture.

It's still up for grabs...

Thanks to the Ravens, the winner of the Cowboys/Redskins game next Sunday night wins the NFC East. (According to ESPN... )
I think the Cowboys/Redskins game would have determined that even if New York won. Both Dallas and Washington has the "Win and in" control. The only thing that the Baltimore-New York game would have determined was the wild card, but even then, it would have been with a lot of help.

I don't know...it seems like the options for that last playoff slot are Vikings, Bears and Giants. I'd rather see the Vikings in than the Bears or Giants.... I think Dallas would be the most attractive option, but they seem to need the most help....

I hope the Redskins do their part but I'll be cheering on the Eagles.

Also, the Bears play the Lions, I don't think the Bears would blow this game,

I think you maybe right. The only way the Cowboys are in is if they win. But I don't think it matters what the Giants do though.

Ok, I just checked the NFL website, and they say the Cowboys can only get in as a division winner. If they lose they're out no matter how anyone else does.

The last thing I read said the Giants could get in if Dallas loses, NY wins and Chicago and Minnesota lose. That's a lot of ifs, though.

That is correct. Seattle or San Francisco would get the 5th seed.

The Dallas Cowboys are great for television ratings, but that doesn’t mean everyone is a Cowboys fan.
This ESPN.com poll — which is admittedly unscientific, but which has garnered nearly 200,000 votes —
indicates quite strongly that America is on the side of the Redskins on Sunday night.

As you can see, 73 percent of voters would like to see the Redskins win, and only in Texas do a
majority of voters favor the Cowboys.

Of course, the Cowboys hate seems even stronger away from the DMV, where many deranged weirdos
(including my daughter’s kindergarten teaching assistant) grow up rooting for the Cowboys.
Maryland (78 percent Redskins), Virginia (77 percent) and D.C. (76 percent) trail places like Michigan (82 percent Redskins),
Pennsylvania (82), New Hampshire (82), Vermont (82), Massachusetts (82), Maine (81), Wisconsin (80)
and Minnesota (80) in right-mindedness.

See full state-by-state results here.
