Minnesota at Green Bay.
After three quarters, the score — Minnesota 3, Green Bay 24.  Adrian Peterson has been ineffectual, to say the least; he's just barely over 70 yards.
(edited to add: less than 7 minutes left in the game, Packers' ball, and he still doesn't have 100 yards)
Temperature at game time: approx. 25°.
As they say, revenge is a dish best served cold.

The standout QB from Pleasant Valley High School and Butte College is coming home to play this weekend 8) On
tonight's news they played a clip from the post game interview where AR said he was looking forward to the Chico Cheese Heads making the trip to San Francisco. And to think the 49'er had the first pick and passed on him

They lost. RGIII quit the team. Redskins traded Alfred Morris for Tony Romo. Mike Shanahan got a tattoo on his arm of Romo throwing an interception to his wife. Its quite classy. Obama, getting wind of all this, resigns as President. Biden sold the United States to China for an Indian Jones box set and rental property in Chengdu. Oddly, his approval rating went up.

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

How smart does the Redskins decision to draft
QB Kirk Cousins in the fourth round last year
look now?

Cousins masterfully led the 'Skins to victory
in the week after RGIII's injury to help
get them into the playoffs.
He's ready to step in should he
be needed at any time.

After watch a pitiful performance by
Joe Webb yesterday replacing Christian Ponder
it becomes even more clear that
the Redskins did the right thing.

The Vikings looked pathetic. Woefully prepared.
Horrid gameplan with their backup QB.

So the Packers man-handled the Vikings. True, Ponder didn't play...but Peterson couldn't do squat either.

And the Texans dominated the Bengals, but somehow only won by a slim margin. They need to get it together if they want to continue...

It shows how dominating he was in the first two games if you consider
99 yards on 22 carries for 4.5 yards/rush to equal "not squat". Might have
been a different outcome if Joe Webb had actually thrown the ball a few times
this year. The last two series Peterson never got to touch the ball.
Still I can't complain after going 3-13 last year the best I was
hoping for was 8-8. :pirate:

Can't argue with that. But 2 weeks in a row, Packers held Peterson under his per-carry average. The only reason he had 199 last week was the career-high in carries.

Don't get me wrong, TONS of respect for him. But he had a lot of yards in games that they lost this year. He can't do it alone.

"Can't complain"?

I'm not even a Vikings fan
but I can sure as hell complain.

That was was one ill-prepared team.
Poor coaching. No game plan.
No adjustments. No "Plan B".

Zero offense creativity.
No coaching clue
of how to enter a game with
their backup QB. Pathetic.

Lets hope that today's game are better than yesterday's, Ravi. Those two games yesterday were pathetic, horribly played, horribly coached, and a complete waste of time. I would have rather watched Biden sun bathe in Chengdu.

Is that how they keep score out in WI? Sacks and how many bars of Wisconsin Cheddar you can scarf down by half time? The Texans making it this far into the season really does show evenly the talent (or lack thereof) in the NFL has been spread out throughout the league. They are not a good team. I like Watt. Respect him. But he will be a non factor - despite a sack or two. Patriots v. Broncos. If there is a god.

They actually have a lot of talent, just haven't played well down the stretch. JJ is not the entire defense...Foster is one of the best backs in the league, very good O-line, and TE play (not to the NE level, but still), decent receivers, good kicking game. Schaub has his moments but he's not a franchise type of QB. He's the key. If he plays well, they can hang in there. But Kubiak has been calling a poor game lately...

They could of had Tarkenton at QB , They weren't beating the Packers in GB ,in the cold , and especially 2 weeks in a row.....they also played them 3 times in the last 5 weeks....but , they did have a great season.

I still have a hard grasping the idea
that THE VIKINGS are no longer a
"cold weather team" ..... this must
really frost Bud Grant's testicles ...

Despite talk to the contrary, the Packers really don't enjoy playing in the cold any more than any other team.
They are just better adapted to it, since they have done so on a more regular basis than the dome teams and the southern teams...
