Ticket cost still $685, but the ticket cost to go to Seattle for Laid Back Attack was $450, and Seattle is a lot closer, just waiting for the price to get below $600.

Man......I sure could get there on the cheap. It's the accommodation prices that seem to be a beetch for that period of time!

Unfortunately, the key to cheap prices is book early. I think it was May 5 that SW released the return flight/remainder of the year out of KW. KW to PGH was $128/ow..it is now $344. Always try to book early. If you have points on SW, book ASAP, if you are not able to make it, your points go back in to the bank, nothing lost.

Watch SW every Tuesday EARLY morning and throughout the day. That is the typical sale day, but the price rises throughout the day at times. This of course if you have SW out of your town.

Good luck! Check out ifly.com and kayak.com too

How long / from when to when would you go down, if at all?

I'm looking for cheapish accommodation as well, from Oct 29 until Nov 9.
Would share a room / two BR suite...
Saw a nice two bedroom suite, upper Duval, for 3200 inkl tax for that period...
Or El Patio might have someting, near the Casa, a bit cheaper.

Hey Z-Man, I have no idea how or when I'm getting there. I think our group rental starts Monday, and I don't have a place to stay on Saturday night, but do want to be around for the wrap-up on Sunday. Guess I'll just have to wander the streets of Key West, eh?

I believe y'all are remembering MontanaJoyce and her cancer-free sister June from sunny So Cal!
Hello! My sister and I were celebrating her 1 year anniversary of her stem cell transplant and yes, Saturday at the Casa we toasted with gummy shots and Whipped Cream vodka! We attended MoTM in 2011 and missed 2012. We had a the most amazing time in KW and at MoTM...it's hard not to when Jimmy shows up for a free street concert, eh? We do not currently have travel plans to MoTM of 2013 mostly because flying there from Montana is expensive. My sister can get there more reasonably but then lodging is also pricey and we both have kids at home to consider feeding when we return. Anyone want to donate airline miles? or have a bed to rent for a week? haha!

If y'all have pics I'd love to see them and June says HI! She's camping this Memorial Day weekend with the family near Tahoe. I'm home in Montana dreaming of seeing Jimmy again this fall. Probably in Vegas (Oct 19) but I'd prefer if he went to Irvine so I could go home and stay with the sister and visit the kids.

Cheers!
Montana Joyce
