For those driving down a little early, but not going all the way to KW, Scott Kirby will be playing at Snappers in Key Largo (MM94.5) Friday thru Sunday evenings. Oct 25-27
Good food, cold beer, fun waterside tiki bar.

Bumping this up, in case anybody feels like sharing their place with me. I'm hoping to find something for less than $150/night.

I'm arriving in KW on Monday 10/28 (playing the Rum Barrel that night, if anyone's interested), and departing Monday 11/4. I'll have a car, so it doesn't matter where on the island I am as long as I can park the car at night.
I'm relatively quiet, out a lot, and considerate of folks trying to sleep and some such. I tend to not make messes in public space, can likely turn whatever you've got lying around into tasty beverages, and might play a few songs for you.

I think it almost time to book this trip...even though i'll only be down from Friday the 1st till Monday the 4th , can you still pick up credentials on that day ( the 1st)??..still looking for a place to stay , that is tough , because it's only 3 nights , most want 5 nights.

I think registration is open on that day from like 9 until 12 pm.

Thinking of taking my M.O.T.M. virgin friend to Alabama Jack's on Monday. All the festivities will be over on Sunday and we don't leave until Tuesday evening, so why not make another trip to see if my Manatee friend makes a return.

If you haven't booked flights yet JetBlue and Southwest have some good deals to South Florida airports. Sale runs through tomorrow for JetBlue and Thursday for Southwest.

Well, although I am not going to be involved with any official MOTM events, I will be playing around town most nights either with my band Soul City, or the Jenkins-Lee duo.

Air is booked!!!!.....now for the hard part ,hotel for Friday, and Sat night in Key West. Prices are ridiculous.
