If you want to stay near the Casa I'll remommend the El Patio Motel.
A five minute walk from the Casa. If you walk really slow that is. :lol:

It's not an overly fancy place, but it's clean and cozy, surrounded by lots of plants, made us feel like being in the tropics the last two years.
No restaurant or breakfast, but you can get a coffemaker upon request, and there's a fridge in the rooms.
They have a small pool and of course an icemachine, plus you can get bags of ice for cheap.

Its a few minutes per bike from lower Duval where you'll find a lot of choices for breakfast.

We paid 126$ a night during MOTM.

Some places actually offer off season rates during this time. Such as marreros BnB on Fleming, in town but anywhere from $110-125 a night

I just came back from Key West yesterday.... Hated to leave. Even spent a few hours at the Casa just lying in a hammock and listening to the waves.

MOTM 2013 will be my 14th MOTM in a row -- Wouldn't miss it. And, I agree... the line up is looking awesome.

I wonder if the Sauce Boss can make enough gumbo for 3,000 folks? ;-)

Impressive line-up for the Saturday Beach Bash at the Casa! :D

I was in KW earlier this month, and will be back a few times before MOTM, but am looking forward to seeing everyone again the week of Halloween! :pirate:
