Completely forgot to check, noone posted this as I've seen.
ZBB plays at the Ram Jam tonight. There's a livestream on Yahoo:

Unfortunately I have no idea how to record a video stream...
Maybe someone sees this post in time... Have fun!

Re: ZBB on Yahoo Ram Jam Tonight
He played in Birmingham tonight and I was glad to get to go. It was a different type of ZBB show for sure. Apparently when he awoke this morning he couldn't even talk so unbeknownst to those of us who held tickets the show was in jeopardy all day. The first opening act was Levi Lowery http://levilowrey.com/site/ A very interesting singer/songwriter that I recommend you give a listen to. After a short set by him Blackberry Smoke brought their rollicking Southern Rock Revival selves to the stage. While they are one of my favorite bands and they put on a great show the sound was well loud and muffled in the BJCC. Now I'll be the first to admit that it is hard to get a good sound in that acoustic dump of an arena but someone should have noticed it in sound check and cleared it up. After BBS left the stage it seemed to take a much longer than ordinary time for the ZBB to take the stage. When they finally did one of the very first things Zac did was apologize for being sick, being late and let us know ahead of time that tonights show would feature lots more of his musicians than normal since he wasn't up to par on his game.
He did not disappoint.
He opened with a rousing version of "Where the Boat leaves from" and stuck with his tropical theme for a songs, then did a left turn down a country lane throwing some cajun laced zydeco out of his window a little southern rock some Marley, then deep into the bluegrass with "Fox on the Run" followed up with an acoustic version of Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion".
When you were expecting him to swing a song with his right hand WHAMMO!!! he caught you with something completely different in his left hook.
There were times when solos ran a little long and you could see conferences going on stage as they literally seemed to make the show up as they went along. But it worked, how??? I dunno. He had guest singing, longer than average solos, songs you never hear from him in concert all of it wrapped up in a very eclectic package.
One of the best damned shows I've ever been to of any kind bar none. Does anyone know where I can find a replay recording or something?
