Fertilizer occurs, SP.  Shake it off.  It could be worse; you could be a Vikings fan (last bowl 1977), a Chiefs fan (last bowl 1969), or a Lions fan (the only non-expansion team that has never been to the bowl).

I promise I won't mention hockey.  Instead, console yourself with the thought that in less than six months the snow will be gone; summer will come; and along with the new green grass will come the training camps, the preseason games, and a fresh crop of fans' dreams.

.... dreams that are doomed to be shattered for the fans of 31 of the 32 NFL teams.

Are you *really* sure you want to put yourself through it again?

The Nationals’ home schedule will include a matchup against the American League champion Detroit Tigers (March 22) and two contests against their 2012 NLDS opponent, the St. Louis Cardinals (March 3 and March 8).
