The Philadelphia Phillies and right-hander Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez agreed Friday night on a six-year deal that could be worth up to $59 million, the richest contract ever for an international player, a club source told Yahoo! Sports.

Watching the news last night I have to say I thought these were pretty ugly. Not Astros or Padres ugly, but it does look like grown men wearing pajamas on the field. I told my wife I didn't remember those uniforms being that ugly- and then it hit me, in 1969 we only had a black and white TV

No I don't ....I do like Berman , he put ESPN on the map. Nice guy too , met him on a flight coming back after a Dolphins game ( Monday night game). I don't find him as obnoxious as others that are there. Steve Levy I like , Reece Davis , John Buccigross all good.

Reason #1 of several #1 reasons that I hate Peter Angelos ...

His pompous, idiot decision not to keep Jon Miller under contract as the voice of the Orioles,
because he felt Miller was too honest at times (critical) of the Orioles organization and play.

I liked Jon Miller when he was on Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN but I wasn't sorry when they let Joe Morgan go. He was a master of the obvious - "The (fill in the team of your choice) have to score some runs if they want to win." - and when he made a point he beat it to death. Great ballplayer, terrible announcer.

The only announcer I flat out genuinely dislike is that moron who announces White Sox games, Ken Harrelson.
I'll just say I dislike him and let it go at that.
