If what is being said in the above article about his sponsors and some of the higher-up muckety-mucks in the Tour and the UCI is true, Lance was not the mastermind; he is a high-level co-conspirator who was being tossed to the wolves and has decided to make sure he will not go alone. -"BB"-

Do you wonder why they haven't awarded those titles to anyone else in his place? Because they haven't been able to find a cyclist who didn't dope up. The entire sport is a sham.
On a side note, Lance was one of the guest speakers at my annual convention last year.
Honest truth, he was the least inspiring or motivating of all the speakers....
The others were Benjamin Zander and Jim Abbott.
If you ever get the chance to see Abbott speak...WOW. Most amazing motivational speaker I have ever heard.
