Pittsburgh 2013
The official Pittsburgh show forum! I'm hoping for a June date. Preferably the week before Kenny Chesney rocks the burgh on June 22.

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
Not too early in June. Why? I paint on Pholks for free and fun(I do accept food and drinks as tips). The paint drys best on a warm day with low humidity. In 2006, the concert was early in the month and slightly cool. That meant more shirts and less bikini tops.Later in the month means warmer weather and more surface for my images.

Loved tailgating in the Burgh, great people and a great time. Hot as hell last year, but had a culinary show for the ages, and this year I will bring the Patron....
Even if Jimmy plays my backyard, the Pholks from PA will have me back there regardless.
Also loved the avenue, was a great lawn, with some wonderful people.

Fruitcakes in the kitchen
Fruitcakes on the street
Struttin naked through the crosswalk
In the middle of the week
Half-baked cookies in the oven
Half-baked people on the bus
Theres a little bit of fruitcake in every one of us

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
Well after this snow we had here in Pittsburgh i can't wait till this year's concert season. We are jus hoping that we get a Saturday concert this year. becaseu we haven't had a Saturday in a long time. Last year it was Thursday, but Buffett thought it was Tuesday, and the year before it was a Tuesday. So hopefully he dose a Saturday. Well FINS UP, and will see when it comes out offically. I will be there no matter what.

I made the LI/GW roundtrip Friday-Sunday, drove to Mohegan Sun Tuesday morning, went home after the show that night then flew to Pittsburgh Wednesday morning.Saltx3 wrote:that probably would have killed us ! -- especially since that was during the time our house was listed for saleLIPH wrote:And Mohegan Sun was the Tuesday between the 2 of them.Saltx3 wrote:it certainly was and a very busy week for usLIPH wrote:It was the Thursday after GW last year.but we like that kind of busy!

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
That was a hell of a week for us last year. We did GW to Mohega to Pitt to Chicago. I was exhausted come Chicago but he played the best set list of the tour there other than Tampa. Not going back to Pitt this year, it was not the best experience of my adventure last year.

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
The only really bad part about Pittsburgh last year was the waiting,
waiting, waiting to get inside. And of course the cops with their
"you can't park here move along we'll start fining you" bull crap.
Camden surprised the hell out of us last year by letting us pull
right into the lot.

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
I would have been ok with the waiting if when I got into the lot I was not charged a fee to park at the venue

Re: Pittsburgh 2013
I've been to Pittsburgh 6 or 7 times, I like the venue but I may not go back this year. I'm probably going to limit my Buffett traveling this year and I think I might try to get to a venue or 2 I haven't been to before.
