Buffett to Record in Key West in coming days...

Buffett mentioned that he would be recording between the end of winter and beginning of spring tour.

So, I was passing by shrimp boat sound on my way home from dinner and what was unloading, a big budget truck and inside the studio was Peter Mayer.

It will take at least a day or two before I would expect Bubba.

I searched Jimmy's jet... I made the assumption that if he was coming here he would take the Falcon. The tail number reports he touches down from Palm Beach at 11:13. Bubba private message me fpr a photo op and I will stop with the secrets. I am not sure what plane live and let live was reporting here.

My apologies. That plane is headed for West Palm Beach. I dont know how I first missed that. Jimmy was here and now it looks like he is headed home. Unless Peter Mayer was on that flight?

Nope - Stumped again. Mayer came down from Orlando. and that is the plane - deadheading home to West Palm. If she flies out out soon I will update. Until then, I need some sunscreen it is getting toasty in Truman Annex, Key West.

I took these when he flew into KBFI for the Seattle show last October. The fin was missing from the tail.

I don't know what the policy is here but on most message boards, posting photos of a performer's private plane would not only be frowned upon but the major of the performers fans would have the good sense to respect their privacy by not posting them at all. Hopefully, phjim will do the right thing and remove the photos. If Buffett's alright with it that's one thing but in this day and age, I don't see how that would be possible.

Thanks. However I would think there's a line you don't cross in respect to a performer's privacy and it seems like posting photos of their private jet (no matter how easy it may be able to find on Google) would be one of them.

BN is an "insider community"? That's news to me. By the way, I don't "pretend" to care about privacy, I actually do. I know in today's celebrity driven culture some people feel it's their right to know every little thing about their favorite celebrity but that doesn't mean it's cool to do so. There's lines you definitely don't cross and it would seem to me that posting photos of the man's private jet would be one of them. As a fan, I'm obviously curious about the recording of his new album but that doesn't mean I need to know his whereabouts 24/7 as some "fans" do. That borders, if not outright crosses the line into stalker territory.

Jimmy himself is posting pictures and a video of his own private yacht right now
because he is renting it out by the week. I see these photos as being in the same category.

In the video he mentions that he may be renting some of his planes as well.

Now posting when and where the plane may have just landed ... perhaps that's different,
but posting photos of the plane itself ... I don't see that as an invasion of privacy.

Thanks. I know for some fans, keeping track of their favorite performer's whereabouts is a full time job. Sometimes that's done with no respect towards their privacy.
