I've seen 4:00 posted several times as the opening time, but not sure if this is for all the lots.

That just can't be the 'real' time.

I share your thought. Hopefully since it's a Saturday show parrotheads will show up early and create some traffic congestion. That seems to be the impetus to open the lots at many of the venues in my experience. But if in fact they hold to their announced time, is there anywhere nearby to hangout while we wait?

Here is "THE PLAN"

Let's meet (not meat) where I'm staying, at Springhill Suites (6350 Newtown Road, Norfolk VA 23502). This should be about 15 minutes from the venue. Please note that I have a LITTLE knowledge of the area, but am not an expert. We can meet (not meat) around 2. I've requested an early check in, so we can go up to one our rooms there to have a snack and a cocktail. The gates apparently really do open at 4. We'll be meeting up (not meating up) with some members of my PHC as well. By doing it this way, we can all go into the venue together, play together, and keep an eye on each other’s things. Plus, it’s more fun.

I’ll be the one with the scepter! It may also help you to know that you can look for a blue Toyota Camry with a Virginia Parrothead license plate. PM me for my phone number if you like.

Sunday brunch at the beach: Auntie is not going to be that close to the beach and not put her toes in the sand. PERIOD. Some of us will be hanging around for brunch at a place called Doc Taylor’s Place at 207 23rd St. Virginia Beach 23451. We can meet (not meat) at 11 Sunday morning. A little “hair of the dog” may be in order!
