The downside of going back is I would have to get on the train and go into Manhattan for a Hooters fix. The 3 on LI all closed last October. And I moved in November. Hmmm, coincidence?

Hello,
Just joined the Buffett world, and just found out that while we are in New York on holiday (sorry vacation ), Jimmy will be playing at Jones Beach, never been to a Jimmy concert before but this is on my bucket list, so hopefully I will be there!
We are from the UK so are really excited and counting the days...hopefully will experience the tailgate party beforehand, seen them on video but never been in person, so any pointers will help (what time to arrive etc..)
Now just need to get the tickets...

Can RVs stay over at Jones Beach?
Is anyone in the North Jersey area? I only have a few people this year that can make it in August. Looking to combine forces with someone and get a bus! Also, thinking of just renting an RV with those few people.

Be sure to stop by & have a nice cold beer with us at our Tiki bar in Jones Beach. I suggest arriving 9am so you can enjoy all of the festivities. Plus you can take a 5 minute stroll over to the beach and check out the waves. You will definately have a great time at Jones beach!!

Planning on both shows but not buying tickets tomorrow. Budget is making me wait. Worst case, I'll sit in the lot during the show and listen via RM. heh.

Seems like more people are going to thurs show. I'm off weds so tues is the day so I only burn 1 sick day. Almost feel cheated about not going to both(wife say no to both). We usually travel to one show but have not found on that fit into schedule yet.waiting for more dates. Good luck getting tixs today all.
