Look it was my third cousin on my mom's side running a food truck. How was he to know "do not enter" meant food trucks. He thought the red button was a door bell ok! And no I was born in 1981, TMI was march of 79.

We're getting down to the wire here. Where is the button for me to make this thread disappear into the abyss when he doesn't play it?

I believe. I have no choice. To give up now would be terrible. I even have a meme ready to go for when it actually happens.

Speaking of memes, this one might be my favorite so far for this thread.

No it must live on till it happens. If we don't stand behind this, do we honestly stand behind anything? My fellow country people, we must believe....Give Me Nautical Wheelers or Give Me Death!

Nah, I'm just joking. Who knows, maybe I'll pathetically repurpose this for next year. Twice as many pages gives the illusion of twice as much support!

Nah. Next year switch to stalking Bob Dylan and/or Joan Baez
and beg them to sing A Pirate Looks At Forty again .... 8)

If anyone wants to support the cause via Twitter, I have sent messages to the Coral Reefer's I know to be on Twitter and a few others. Feel free to go to my feed and retweet my messages to the Reefers. Didn't want to barrage them too early, but today and tomorrow are the only chances we have.

Here are links to the individual Tweets to retweet... should you feel compelled to do so... which you should... because you're already so invested in this by now. Let's double down and go for broke...

@Margarillas
@jimmybuffett
@petermayergroup
@macmcanally
@NadirahShakoor
@unclejimrocks
@SavannahBuffett

I also tweeted to JD from Radio Margaritaville and he RT'd it at the Margarilla's. Nice to get a response if nothing else!

Anyone have any others to try or any other ideas/suggestions now that we're in the home stretch?

Rush the stage during the encore....just duck and weave around charleston. Once you get on stage do the dance from the YouTube video. Jimmy will recognize the dance and be so inspired that he'll want to play it. Afterwards I'm sure you'll be arrested, but surfpirate, pa parrot, saltx3 and me will come bail you out after breakfast on Sunday.

I've been following this thread and watching this idea grow off and on now for a while. I really hope this happens for you. I gotta say that the last view pages remind me of the Save Ferris campaign seen around Illinois during Ferris Bueller's Day Off which isn't a bad thing.
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

At least get something to-go for me. The tax-payer-sponsored breakfasts they offer in the slammer aren't even Denny's Grand Slam quality.

I posted to the Margarilla's Facebook wall as well.
