Well, Well, Well.
I hope this puts some of the doubters in their place.
At the same time, I hope Marge Simpson was wrong when she said that "One person can change the world, but they probably shouldn't".
Well Done Funky. Well Done One and All.
Thank You, Mr & Mrs Buffett for raising such a son.

Happy for you, Funkhouse! Though I'm still not completely clear on what happened to the first eight Funkhouses. Was at MOTM 20; "Nautical Wheelers" was one of my two favorite songs that afternoon. So what do you think is JB's handle here on BuffettNews?
Happy for you, brother!

Agreed!
Although rabbitz stew can be delicious. Just saying.
Cheers!

Good for you, Funkhouse. That's two nice things that happened this week.
And Jimmy — if you're reading this — your KQ (Karma Quotient) just took a major bump upwards. -"BB"-

Hey Jeff - so what I said to you on the lawn - well, looks like I was wrong. Glad I was.

Any chance we can get him to play FREEBIRD one night???? If so, I would gladly pay close to Rolling Stones prices.... divided the cost for the shitty venues he plays at... so maybe $200 bucks for a ticket.....

OMG! When I heard Jimmy talking about the 400 petitioners on RM and then started playing NW, I had some serious chills run through my body. Congrats Funkhouse9 and all the Parrotheads who believed. Jimmy, you came through!!! Can't wait to see you in Vegas!

I cried. I really was so caught off guard because I never really believed it would happen. He said something about "it's been a lovely cruise" and I told myself "that's that." Then I heard him say petition and I kind of cracked. My buddy had wandered off a couple songs before and didn't find his way back until after the lights came up, so I was on the lawn by myself trying to get a video of it with my hands shaking and just basking in the moment.
You can barely tell from the photo Conched posted, but to the bottom left, the video backdrop even said Nautical Wheelers.

Ahh...the power of BN. Not only did he see the petition here (from what I understand), I saw the news from various BN friends on Facebook.

Here's the video I took of it. Couldn't pass up capturing it, but also tried hard to watch the stage and not the camera screen.
(Uploading now. Not available quite yet but I'm going to bed soon.)
