OMG! When I heard Jimmy talking about the 400 petitioners on RM and then started playing NW, I had some serious chills run through my body. Congrats Funkhouse9 and all the Parrotheads who believed. Jimmy, you came through!!! Can't wait to see you in Vegas!

I cried. I really was so caught off guard because I never really believed it would happen. He said something about "it's been a lovely cruise" and I told myself "that's that." Then I heard him say petition and I kind of cracked. My buddy had wandered off a couple songs before and didn't find his way back until after the lights came up, so I was on the lawn by myself trying to get a video of it with my hands shaking and just basking in the moment.

When I got home, I saw that Jim Mayer had replied with just a smilie face to my message to him on Twitter to tell Jimmy about the petition. Glad I didn't see it until after because it was much better being a surprise.

You can barely tell from the photo Conched posted, but to the bottom left, the video backdrop even said Nautical Wheelers.
