I'd like to make this show too and am trying to figure out where to hold a hotel room...something tells me something else is going on that weekend in Nashville considering the 400+ room shearton has no rooms..?

I have a contact at Gaylord. I asked her if the 4/13 rumor was true. She told me about Disney on Ice.

I checked and Disney On Ice is not there. Just another false rumor being spread.

Checked where Anon? The event calendar? You're right, it's not on there. However, a Gaylord Entertainment Center employee whom I have been in contact with for nearly 2 years now, stated that April 13th is for Disney, not Buffett. Why would I make that up? I want Jimmy to play Nashville more than anyone...I live here.

I emailed Gaylord Entertainment center, and got back an email saying Stars On Ice is scheduled to be there April 13th. No rumor...this came directly from the Gaylord people. BUT, maybe AmSouth Ampitheater, or Riverbend, or even Cinergy Field(not likely, it's not ready!) Or somewhere slightly outside of Nashville, like his shows near Chicago, etc.

Confirmed info on the Nashville show- April 13th at the Amsouth Amphitheatre. The show dates in North Carolina and Texas are all correct. Buffett will also be playing May 25th and 26th in Las Vegas. Summer tour kicks off on June 18th in Cincinnati.

Where did you get this info from? I hope your right about Vegas, but I don't see Jimmy doing back to back shows May 25 and 26 in Vegas b/c he never plays two nights in a row but I hope he does esp. seeing that is mem. day weekend!

There are alot of strange details with the on going rumors. I'm hearing dates at venues that already have events scheduled and back to back shows which JB rarely does these days. I would sit tight and not make any definite plans based around these supposed dates. It's strange to hear the Margaritaville.com representatives say the dates won't be announced for another 3 or 4 weeks yet there are rumored dates for early April. Something doesn't fly. This crap circulates every year and inevitably we are just going have to wait and see.

If you have the schedule in front of you, then what's the truth about the dates in N.C.?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Where is Buffett going to be playing in Nashville if not Gaylord?? Where is this Amsouth Amphitheatre?? Is that close to Nashville?? The friend I'm going with goes to Vandy. Is that close to that?? I'm from Atlanta. Would April 13th be the same??

AmSouth is the old Starwood. It's right outside of Nashville in LaVergne. 15-20 min from downtown.

I want to know where these people were who couldn't get into Alltel until 30 minutes before the show. We pulled into the lot at 4:00 with a huge crowd and had a great time changing our attitudes! Of course we were in an RV and were surrounded by others with similar vehicles.

Raleigh is a GREAT show - the folks at Alltel have limited it somewhat, but I have been to many shows there and never found it to be less than excellent. All of Jimmy's NC shows sell out and he didn't appear here at all last summer - maybe that explains 3 shows this year.

Hey! I am planning on going to the Raleigh concert if the date is correct but I am concerned about the tailgating. Does Alltel allow it? How early do the lots open? What about Verizon in Charlotte? Any info would be appreciated, thanks!
