Never been there.
One of the ships I served aboard in the Navy in the 1970's (U.S.S. Oklahoma City) is having a reunion there, Sept. 24th-29th. Thinking of going, and getting a bit excited.
Anybody been there?

several times - it's a very "unique" place! And it changes nearly every time we head there to see friends.

Years ago ... lots of changes. The nearby lake is beautiful.
Downtown ... think countrified Vegas and you'll get the picture ... LOTS of traffic all the time, as I remember.

Ton's of times... Make sure you stop at Lamberts right outside of Springfield on the way in to Branson, great food... Downtown Branson's River Front is pretty awesome now with all the new stuff.

I've been to the Lambert's Cafe just outside of Cape Girardeau, MO. YES, Great food, fantastic throwed rolls.
Getting a bit excited about this trip and hanging out with some of the guys from 35-40 years ago.
