Who's going to Mac on the beach in AC (free) 6/15?

We have reservations and will be heading down for this one. Anyone else out there?

Looks like this will happen, coming down late Friday. Show starts at 1pm, what time would the beach open?
Did they ever have a grand opening of the place w Jimmy? Chances of him showing up?

Jimmy was not at the opening. I was. sadness. Well, they are saying there will be a mystery guest. Ya gotta believe! We will be on the beach in the morning.

So now who's going??? We're going to the Mac show at the State Theater the night before. 2 1/2 drive.....leave at 7ish....this could work.

So now that Jimmy is confirmed, what's a good time to get to the beach?? Will they allow cameras and video since it is a public beach and free open concert??

Maybe they announced it as a goodwill gesture to placate the people who were p*** off about the "no more live music at Landshark" policy.

He will play 5 o'Clock Somwewhere with Mac. Maybe Piece Of Work, also with Mac. Then probably work the crowd Margaritaville, Fins, and maybe some Cheeseburger.

They will close with an acoustic duet of some sort.

Just got back from seeing Mac at the State Theatre in Falls Church, Virginia.
Not more than 150 people there tops. Less than 20 stayed to talk with him after the show
and get a picture or autograph. Absolutely the easiest most intimate setting I've ever seen Mac play.

I talked with Mac a bit after the show .... he said he's driving himself up to Atlantic City in the morning
and he was n't sure just how the mix with Jimmy would play out.

He also said that last night (Thursday) he was with both Jimmy and Toby Keith
"recording the video for 'Too Drunk To Karaoke'".
He smiled when I asked if the song was good and simply said "Well ... the video is pretty funny".
