Ticket availability will be pretty good for those that get through on the computer in the first 30-45 seconds!

I'm assuming this is a GA venue or is there seating?

That's why I wish they'd do paperless, I'm convinced it's the only reason some of us got tickets to Boston Strong. Though if it's supposed to be a benefit for the One Fund why would Jimmy have 1/4 of the tickets, how could they raise money that way?

From the Patriot Ledger

Jimmy Buffett to perform benefit show in Boston for The One Fund

Fins up! On June 20, surf rocker Jimmy Buffett will perform a special show to benefit The One Fund, which raises money for survivors of the April 15 bombings and the families of those killed in the attack. Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at 8 p.m. June 20, at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, LiveNation announced today.

General admission tickets cost $99 and are limited to two per customer. They go on sale at noon Friday, June 14 at ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.

The band also performed as part of the star-studded Boston Strong concert in May.

Buffett’s newest album tentatively titled “Songs from St. Somewhere,” is scheduled for release in July.

Buffett’s annual visit to the Comcast Center in Mansfield happens June 22.

They are going to do paperless ticketing for this event just like the OneFund concert.

Per the article below

To prohibit re-selling and scalping, all tickets will be held at the box office for pick up by the purchaser until the night of the concert and proper I.D. is required.

I think we need to revive the Bruins/Buffett logo from 2011. I need to redo my shirt. Do you still have the logo? If all goesright the B's win it Sat night on the big screen at the show. Might make up for the Celts losing to the lakers a few years ago on show night

Yea those shirts were nice. They were being bootlegged in the lot until they got confiscated. Then who would have thunk it.... Jimmy showed up on stage wearing one of the confiscated bootlegged T-shirts [smilie=whistle.gif]

No brokers for this one. You can't even change the name on the ticket:

From TIcketmaster
This event is ages 18 and over with valid ID.

An Evening with Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band To Benefit the One Fund

All tickets will be will call ONLY and there is a strict TWO (2) ticket limit. No name changes will be allowed.

So if you can't be online to get your own ticket or have someone get one who's going with you, you're screwed.

Probably because Don Law is a co-owner of the Paradise. :)

I wouldn't spend $107 to buy the Paradise - let alone go to it.

Used to go there in college for $4 with $1 beers. Speaking of beers - I will be at a bar that night.
I don't care about the venue, it's seeing the band in a small venue - we don't get many chances to do that. I'd actually be just as happy if it were JUST the band.
Agreed...capacity is < 1000?
From what I understand yes, I think Jen said 933
I'll park my as$ at the Chicken Box this summer and wait for him there.

Actually, they re-did the Paradise really nice. I went there when they re-opened it.

I would love to go to this. Especially because my brother will be in Boston on business until Friday night. This would work out perfectly...

Tickets are going to be near impossible to get. That's not being negative, just realistic. Good luck to all!

Probably timing. The House of Blues would have been nice but it wasn't available. And the Paradise was renovated about a year or so ago so it is better now. The stage use to be way to one side of the floor so only about 1/2 the crowd could see the stage but they moved it and made it more centered and moved the bar to the back. It is much nicer now.
