Mac on the a Grand Ole Opry

It's about time! Is that the first time he's been invited to play there or has it just not worked out with his touring in the past? Hard to believe he would have been overlooked after all these years and all the awards.

It's weird how the opry works. They usually give older members one song like jimmy c Newman or Jean shepred. But new people who are non members get 2 at least. But it is still one of my favorite shows to listen or go to...

I just wanted to bump this topic up as a reminder that the Opry show is tomorrow (02.28.2014). Most Opry shows are streamed online at http://www.wsmonline.com/. This stream is pretty stable, so users should have no problem playing it.

The show starts at 8:00p ET. Mac is scheduled to be on stage during the 9:15p ET - 9:45p ET block. He is the last performer during that time.

First time as a solo performer, he's played there in the past as a backup musician. He's in the lineup for two songs on Friday.

Unfortunately, I was at work and missed this. All i can say is that Mac is one of those people who deserves every good thing that comes his way, and it is about damn time that he was invited to play the Grand Ole Opry.
