it is with great regret that i must now inform you that I need to go in for surgery tomorrow on my left hand. 
I have muscled through the pain for many weeks now to keep this thread alive, but the doctors have now informed me that I must have the surgery done or lose the hand. You see folks, while in Florida I ran a large splinter through the palm of my hand. I have toughed it out for many weeks, but I can no longer stand the pain. I will be in surgery for at least 15 minutes, while under mild sedation I ask all of you to hold a candle light vigil in my honor. I know these are difficult times and you ALL rely on me, but now I need you. If successful, the doctor should be able to remove the 4 millimeter shard of doom from my hand, but if not, I'm afraid that come concert time in will be "fins to the stump, fins to the right" for me. God bless all of you and God Bless America......

No i dont need to be stereo typed and racially profiled. It will either be a nice oxford and some khakis or a tropical shirt and board shorts.
