Who is going to Raleigh April 22 ?
Heading to Raleigh from Ohio for the first time . How is tailgating ? What time do they open the parking lot ? Any info helpful . Finz up !

the only time I was down there (tho it was a memorable tailgate) in early June, it was a good crew from BN all getting together on the far side of the entrance. it was 103 and humidity to match, but a good time was had, and the company was great.rbnhd21 wrote:Heading to Raleigh from Ohio for the first time . The lots usually open around 2pm, but the line starts around 10am to get in. The Parrot Heads of NC are set up near the gate, next to the Margaritaville Bus and they're having a pre-concert party with Matt Hoggatt the night before at Rally Point Sports Bar in Cary. Any confirmation on when the lots open?? Having trouble finding any real intel. Will be in NC on vacation and we have 8 of us attending the show. Long time JB fans.

Unfortunately with new management at Walnut Creek, I can't confirm anything. But I would wager on somewhere around 2 that the gates will open based on past history. Once cars start parking on the main road, they've opened the gates up...

I used to park in a grassy area with some trees just to the right of the VIP parking rather than my assigned space. Last time there they gave us a hard time but since we were already there they let us stay. We don't have a big crowd this year. Just one vehicle. Is there a good area where any of you guys set up?
