there are hotels right up the street from HersheyPark (and next door to Troegs Brewery)

Beer, chocolate and Buffett, it's like hitting a trifecta.

I can wait until I get back home, there's one in North Myrtle Beach and one in Myrtle Beach. And if I drive instead of flying, I'm sure there's at least one somewhere along the way.

If it happens we will be there...I'm parking in Tim's driveway and dragging the pop up and cooler over.
Tailgating or not, its so close I don't see how we can't go. Maybe we can take over the Chocolate World parking lot

I've been to lots of shows there. If you are from out of town, it's a football stadium open on both ends. They put the stage on the north end. The field is turf with chairs in front of the stage. The view from the stands is not bad. I've always found the sound to be pretty good. I agree with Tim and Kevin - there are lots of places to stay close by. Other than park and concert traffic that day, there are no clusterf**k roads like around Philly, New York, and DC. IF this comes to be, anyone of us can help you out with the lay of the land in the Hershey area. If you pay me, I'll even give you Tim's address

I drive past that one every year when we make our annual pilgrimage to Margaritaville from Top Sail Island. PaParrott heads to a place called Utters. Its Amish girls who show the tops of there ankles and serve unpasteurized milk. He likes it there he says Amish girls really know how to hoe.
If you come to this maybe we could convince Patrice and Dan to come back to PA for this one. Heck you can pick them up and car pool.

Id put football stadium in quotes. Its an old football stadium. Not to be confused with a Lincoln Field or Gillette etc.. type football stadium. Its the kind that you and Newt Rockne used to play in Steve.

The hotel sites are deceiving, or maybe I hadn't had enough coffee this morning when I googled...I thought the hotels and cabins and stuff were on site at the park.

I dunno of any cabins in Hershey unless there are some down at the campground but thats like two miles away. None of the hotels are in the park or park property. The hotel hetshey sits in a huge hill across from the park.
