Since the margaritaville video didn't work for me I guess I didn't spoil anything.

This show is selling really slow but of course the presale didn't have all the tickets so I got stuck in not so good seats.

Figured that fogerty would not help draw any fans. I really like fogerty and am looking forward to seeing him again but it added nothing to the concert value for regular fans that are not serious parrotheads.
They should have added zbb here instead of hersery. I know that's zbbs gig there but it should have been a home an home deal with jimmy.
Chesney took the summer off. They could have had him do a short acoustic set.

Going to the Chicago show this Saturday.
But after the glowing review of Fogerty may have to reevaluate the "home" show at Comerica, although not a big fan of the sound quality there.

We don't have tickets yet. We said we wouldn't go last year out of protest for the venue (lousy sound, lousy tailgating) however ended up going when my wife got free tix from work. Will probably end up doing the same this year.
Headed down to Cleveland today for the Cuyahoga Falls show.

I really think the crowd is gonna be light this year. Have noticed more advertising this year than prior years. I'm hoping they discount the field seats ($179) again before the show.

I am coming in from Toronto to see the show in the big "D".

Look for me in Lot #1, 2, or 3. I was in lot #1 last year and had a blast.

I will have a blue EZ Up tent with "THE" flag (Fin Land) on one side and the Maple Leaf on the other.

I will have drinks. My Hurricanes will knock you on your butt. Since I am staying nearby in Troy, the Margaritas will be frozen.

I will have beads for the ladies. and yes I am "Looking for a woman to blame"

Anyone looking to go and wants "better" field, the other 1/2 of our party has 4 seats in CC row 29, just looking to recoop cost.

Now we've always done the gravel lots off woodward which I've heard are gone now w/ the construction of the new Red Wings stadium. How do we get better lots? Closer to the park? How early do we need to get there? LOL.

was thinking of going to this show since we are unable to attend the great woods show this year. Anybody have any info on this venue as far as tailgaiting? we are going to fly in sat morning and rent a car. I also see that the show starts at 530 is that what time fogerty goes on? any info would help

The tailgating is every where around the stadium district. Lots of parking and tailgating its just not connected together like a normal shed venue. 530 I believe is just the gate time. Forgerty is more like 630 start

I thought start time is listed as 7pm. I was assuming that would be Fogerty, unless there is another act before him. I feel like Jimmy doesn't start till close to 9pm the last 2 years. Is my memory foggy?

Also the weather forecast is not looking good for Saturday as of right now. Beautiful temps instead of the face melting heat that past two years. However............they are calling for a 30% chance of tstorms in the evening.

For hose unaware comerica does not have ANY covered seats in the whole place. Bring a parka because I believe the stadium doesn't allow umbrellas any more because of homeland security.
