Mac Atlantic City June 7

Post by FinsUp6835 »

Just got free tickets to the Mac show in Atlantic City June 7th. Anyone going? Any word if Jimmy is showing up?

I suspect it would be a surprise if Buffett shows up. Most be kind of painful for folks like Mac, when they have a night off from tour to perform on their own to have the prospect of Buffett showing up hanging over them. Not that there's anything the matter with a surprise appearance from Buffett but I could see where it could prove to be a distraction. Last year, when Steve Earle had a night off, his opening band (as well as current members of the Dukes), The Mastersons, stayed in Raleigh an extra night to share a bill with the NC Music Love Army. There was a lot of speculation as to whether Steve Earle might put in a surprise appearance or not. Turned out, it was said it was probably best if something like that was announced ahead of time, otherwise it could turn into a moment where he (unwittingly) upstages the main act.
