"Buffett's other new endeavor is in the wine world -- Auter deRose, whose purpose, he cracks, is "to get women in our bigger bars to stop drinking white zinfandel and drink a better wine. It's just from my days of liking rosé and 'can we make a decent rosé in America, 'cause there isn't one.' So I worked on it for about two years with guys I knew who were winemakers and we just did it and it came out really good."

Interesting, wonder who he's working with. The wife is a fan of rosé, I suspect she'll try it and render a verdict.

"We just have to figure out how we're going to pay for it -- subscription? Advertising? Both? So that's coming."

I don't mind paying for it if the fee is reasonable. Just, please, no ad popups!

Thanks for posting this, Tiki. Subscription, advertising, both? I'm not willing to pay much for MargaritavilleTV. I would encourage Buffett's camp to go the advertisement route. It's like newspapers. Most newspapers cannot expect their readers to pay high online subscriptions. For example, I have an iPad subscription to the Miami Herald; it costs me 99 cents per month. I have no issue paying that; if it were 10 dollars per month, I wouldn't pay it. Same thing with MargaritavilleTV. Don't ask the fan base to foot the bill. Get the advertisers to foot the bill.

As far as the rose wine goes, good God! Must there be a product for everything? The idea that less is more has been completely lost on Margaritaville enterprises. I wish that Jimmy had chosen a few products that he believed in and developed quality products. Unfortunately, there are too many products, and many of them are thoroughly mediocre.

This is exactly my sentiment as well. I would rather pay a reasonable fee than deal with advertising panes and/or popups.

I love the idea of the behind-the-scenes videos, they are a great bonus.
