Anguilla beach set
Hi All,
I could have sworn I asked this before (a few years ago) on here, but I can't seem to find the old thread. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has copies of the other acoustic songs from the beach set from Anguilla (which are not on the published album)? If so, can you point me in the right direction of obtaining them?
Thanks so much

I believe the beach set from Anguilla was in fact broadcast on RM live as Jimmy performed but there has never been a recording of it on jokelben or any other Buffett show server. Hopefully there is some kind Parrot Head who has a copy from the RM broadcast and can make it available.SharkysMV1 wrote:Hi All,

I will dig around. I don't believe the whole show was broadcast, but a few songs were played individually that didn't end up on the CD. I think I have a couple.

Re: Anguilla beach set
I went through my old files and I found 3 unreleased songs from the beach set:
Banana Republics
Presents To Send You
Stranded On A Sandbar
I have uploaded them to both servers.
Enjoy!

The beach show was streamed on RM at 11 am Eastern Time which might be why the people who recorded shows back then may have missed itnvrmnd17 wrote:I will dig around. Thanks for uploading the songs. I could have sworn I had them on my iPod but when I checked my iTunes library after I saw this thread yesterday, none of them were in there. Thanks again.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Re: Anguilla beach set
That's interesting. I did not know that.
I'll do some more digging. I doubt I have any raw recordings that old, but you never know what might be hanging around on some old drive. My computer used to record most Buffett Buffets in that period, so I might have caught the end of the show.
The three songs I have were replayed at various times during regular programming shortly after the performance.

Re: Anguilla beach set
That was such a great time. I wish I could go back in time and relive that experience. Thanks for uploading it. Will have to copy those songs which weren't included.
One negative is that I wish they had released the songs in the order in which they were played. I can't figure out why they did it the way they did.

Re: Anguilla beach set
The Live in Anguilla set contains 2 CD's and a DVD. The tracks on the CD's are the complete 27 track show from 3/24/07 with three songs from the 3/23/2007 acoustic beach set at the end of Disc 2 after the end of the 3/24 show. The DVD in the set contains 3 songs from the beach set and then 15 from the 3/24 show the DVD jumps around the 3/24 show and does omit a large number of the songsMacPhin wrote:That was such a great time.
