Going to see Willie Nelson for the first time next week. I am super pumped! Had a chance to see him two years ago in a real intimate venue but something came up and I couldn't make it.

I'm huge fan but have only seen him in concert once which was with Lost Trailers and Tift Merritt in Cary, NC back in the early 00's. Even though I knew what to expect ahead of time, I was somewhat put off by how he never finished a song, the entire show was one long medley. I'll be seeing him for the second time this weekend at Farm Aid in Raleigh.

Saw him twice in Austin....a true legend.

I saw him every time he came through Los Angeles for about ten years. have not seen him the past few years. I even saw him with the LA Philharmonic as his backup band. go see him if you have not....

Saw Willie last night and he did not dissapoint.

True legend- he can really jam.
His songs and delivery warm the soul. Glad I went. God bless him!

Oh, and half the set list was covers. Great concert but I did notice that.

Seems like it just isn't Jimmy these days...

Willies always had covers in his show. Usually a lot of hank Williams and billy joe shaver songs
