our original plan was to drive on friday, but then saw that southwest had friends fly free..$70 r/t....

Sheesh!! I don't check in here for one day, and two and 1/2 pages have been added!!! Ok. We'll be at the BWMCI around noon, pay for the rooms, then head over to Courtyard Cafe, eat, drink, meet, then go back to the room, party a little (maybe in parking lot). Then go to hear ST. Somewhere!!! I've already suggested to husband and other couple that we may ferry a few to the concert. Age thing: we are over 45, but party with our kids, they love our parties. Last summer we had a party around our pool, the husband invited several 20somethings from his office. They said it was the best party they'd been to all year, and the rest of the younger ones in the office who couldn't come were jealous!!!! Now we have to have another blowout this summer and invite ALL!!!

Glad to see you all have it planned, so my group can join right in. I've got a group of 12 coming from Evansville, IN. We're in a "short bus" (especially fitting at the end of the night!) We have A room at the now famous BWMCI. Can a 43 year-old guy wearing a full-bodied sharksuit party with you? Before you answer...Did I say I had some beads/shark toys to give-away? Did I say that there are 6 22-24 year-old girls and 4 18 year-old girls in my group of 12? Which reminds me of a question, Is the Courtyard not considered a bar until after 6:00PM? As in are the younger girls allowed in during the day. Hope to hang.

Well, since you're the Captain of this ship... Enough of this women in chains thing. It should be a wild time. Have you been to this venue before? I've been to the Arena in 1999. The downtown bars were fun!!

It rained. they frisk pholks going through the gate-had two drums full of confiscated booze-probl'y body cavity searches this year.
They say they intend to enforce the no tailgating/alcohol policy-some bozo had a bad wreck leaving last year or something...

I am tooo confused about who is whom and who will be where! All i DO KNOW is that i get on a plane tomorrow morning for Nashville....leaving the sick child with the bummed out husband and will be at the Courtyard Saturday with my friends. Guess it wont help to say i will have on a hawaiin shirt? lol. If anyone sees a short,middle aged women (damn, i hope i dont ACTUALLY LOOK middle aged) with short blonde hair in full concert attire wandering around the Courtyard...check to see if it is ME! LOL...and ...what a stretch..my name IS Cath!

I have a feeling there will be alot of people who look like you Cath..you should have a name tag on LOL....I am Jeff....I will be there as well, with my friend who is 24 and looks about 21...so you if see me, say hi....I am sure we will be some of the younger ones there....

It sounds like the BWMCI will be a great place to meet and party before and after.

If anyone with a DD has room for 8-10, to and from AmSouth, we'd be happy to pitch in money to pay the gas for the 1 mile drive each way. I understand that Beer is considered legal tender.
