Check out printers alley. Great Music. Not to touristee.

Also, the Bluebird Cafe is great for live music

Even if you're not a country music fan, you've got to check out Tootsie's. Its a classic bar with two seperate floors and stages. Right on Broadway across from the arena next to Legend's, which is worth checking out too. But everyone who visits Nashville must go to Tootsie's, lot of history there.

Broadway is a main drag in downtown Nashvul'.
Amsouth is 10 or so miles south of downtown.

I'm thinking that the Exit Inn will be the place to be Friday.... ??? Should we meet there - later on 10ish?? Then everyone can do some of the touristy thing earlier...

Whats the story on transportation to AmSouth from Courtyard Cafe ? Anyone know the going cab rates ?

And, MORE importantly - what about transportation AFTER the show - will the ampitheater have cabs available ?????

Sorry if there are repetitive, but, after reading all the threads, it looks like the 'official' plans have changed a bit due to AmSouths uncooperation !!!!

We have a group driving up from Birmingham, and want to take part in all the festivities.. we are staying in Brentwood, so I know its going to be a hike over to Courtyard Cafe from there - but I am just trying to figure out the best place to park the ride and crack the beers !!!

Any info is appreciated !!!

Anyone know if there are any cab company's that have mini-vans? There's one here in St. Louis.

Finally decided to just take the whole day off Friday so that we can get in town a little earlier on Friday.

Also it looks like they've update the Weather forecast to mostly cloudy and 79. Still not bad for April.

I am EXTREMELY impressed with Desdamona....Our flight leave on Friday at 7:00 and arrives at 8:30...We hope to not check any bags so don't have to wait once we land. We will pick up the rental car, and head out....To where, who knows..for what, a beer for sure!!!

I went to a pre-party in Atlanta once and they had shuttles to and from the concert for a fee. Maybe if we all call the Courtyard; ask for transportation and let them know we would be willing to pay for it they will get the hint. Anyone got the number??

hey y'all.... only 2 more days, I can't wait. i have two tests tomorrow, so i'll be more than ready to party on saturday (it could get messy though). there's a group of about 6 of us, my girlfriend and i will be wearing grass skirts and coconut bras (that probably doesn't narrow it down too much). but if you see us, give us a holler.... will be at courtyard around noon, then tailgate at bw. later.

Is anyone going to nashville , leaving from St Louis on Friday morning?
