Answer to one question: minors are allowed at the Courtyard Cafe until 9 p.m. The bartender assures me that both inside and outside will easily be able to handle the crowd, and that Tall Paul will likely play outside as long as the weather cooperates.

Will post more info as soon as I find out more.

Hi All.. by any chance does anyone have a reservation for a room in Nashville this weekend that they may not be using? (yeah, right... ha) I know it's late but our hotel room reservation got messed up and now I'm scrambling. I'm still checking expedia and such but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!
Grace

Thanks, S&J, for all your info. If you're a typical Smokey Mtn. Parrotthead member, I guess I need to join. Look forward to meeting you and everyone else at Courtyard Cafe.

Anyway looking, I'll be wearing a Straw Cowboy Hat with a Margaritaville Tequila Pin on front and a Hawaiian Leigh for a Headband. (5'11ish with a red-brown goatee also).

Looking forward to meeting all. Some Friday, the rest Saturday.

Hey there beachboundintime,
I would say that most SMPH members are typical Parrot Heads. I just happen to be the lead parrot at the time being and have to steer the phlock! But I'm not complaining.

Seriously, most of our members will be wearing club t-shirts at the Courtyard. Grab one of them and hold on for the ride.

You, as well as others in the Knoxville area, are more than welcome to stop by at our next local phlocking. It will be April 19 at Smokey's. Coincidentally, Tall Paul plays that night for us, so it will be fun. Get more details from our web site http://www.smokymountainphc.com/, or send me an e-mail for directions and such.

It usually rains at at least one of his concerts I go to a year. Usually make 2 or 3 so if it rains here maybe it wont rain in Cincinnati.

Doesnt matter to me, beer and Buffett, a much needed vacation from the world for a while

Ilive about 30 miles from Nashville, its pouring here now, maybe it will get it out of its system tonight and tomorrow morning. They are calling for hit and miss showers tomorrow but even if it does rain its not supposed to all day.

yeah... I think there will be HUGE rainstorms all day, and freezing winds, snow, hail, tidal waves and maybe even a Land-monsoon or something..

Does anyone need me to take their tickets off their hands in light of the forecast ?

Lawn Seats Rule ! (yep - still need 'em)

As long as we have our margaritas, the rain will not bother me.....

If it gets too bad I have brought a roll of very large baby blue trash bags/raincoats....but as long as it is warm, who minds a little rain?

I have a feeling we'll be dry Sat. night. Remember St. Louis last year? Storms right up to the concert then it stopped. And how about Cincy last year! We could see lightning across the river through most of the show, just knew we were going to get wet. It didn't start until after the show though, wound up very wet without a ride. I think the buffett gods will create a hole in the weather pattern for us, keep your fins up!

It seems most of the time it will rain during the day, but then before the show it stops, but makes for a MESSY lawn.....

I wanted to leave early today, I hope I can get out of here a little early....
