The walk from there is a little scary, unless they have widened the road it is very narrow with no shoulder most of the way to the show. Will look for the party at the BW i will be in a red conversion van so if you see it say HEY!!

It appears as if the Courtyard Cafe will be having a pre-Party also. Live music, etc. etc. Though I still have plans to party at the BWMCI before and after the pre-party and the concert.

Go to NEWS forum and then to "Nashville pre-party" post. Sounds interesting. I've emailed the Smokey Mt. Parrothead club a couple of times, seem like fun people! The prices for drink and horses-doovers during happy hour sound great!! Still waiting on a post from someone who knows whether there will be a tailgate party at Amsouth or not. We've got only 25 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!YEEHAW

As far as tailgating at AmSouth, it has really been skiddish. Some events they are a lax and others very strict. Dont know how to tell when they will be good or bad..
What would they do if I just sail away

If they're skiddish now, imagine how skiddish they'll be after seeing the insanity that we'll bring.

So, is anything going on in Clarksville on Friday? We may stay there Friday to break up the trip and to get away for one more night.

Courtyard Cafe pre-party is sponsored by my club, The Smoky Mountain Parrot Head Club from Knoxville, TN. We've asked AmSouth about tail-gating. They say absolutely NOT! That's why we have gotten this pre-party going. Nashville club is gone and we figured if anyone was going to do it, we better since we are closest. The party will be outside at the Courtyard Cafe if weather permits. Otherwise, it's a big place and will hold many PHs! You're all invited. Let me know if ya have any questions. Here's the info...

The Smoky Mountain Parrot Head Club, Tall Paul and the Courtyard Cafe are proud to announce the Jimmy Buffett pre-concert party in Nashville!

Saturday, April 13 from 1-5 p.m. at the Courtyard Cafe. Located at 867 Bell Rd., Antioch, TN. Only 10 minutes from AmSouth Amphitheater!

The Courtyard Cafe is certainly a Parrot Head phriendly kinda place. They offer all our favorite eats and drinks. Corona specials will be waiting for you! And it gets even better at happy hour from 3-7 p.m. when they offer these great specials.
$1 Draft
2 for 1 Mix Drinks
$1.75 Margaritas
$3.00 Frozen Drinks
20 cent Wings
35 cent Fresh Oysters
35 cent Crawfish
50 cent Shrimp Cocktail

A $5 cover charge will support the live music. The band consists of several Parrot Head style musicians including, Tall Paul, Tod Sheley, Klee Liles and Milan Miller. Other surprise guest musicians may join in the phun!

Come by to enjoy the phun atmosphere of the Courtyard Cafe, great island-style music from the live band and make new phriends with other
Parrot Head clubs before the concert.

Probably will stay in Clarksville Friday. If you know the name of that bar, I'd appreciate it. I don't know what else we'll do having never been in the town except for primering the skids for Saturday with a couple of Margaritas.

I wasn't even sure I'd get tickets. So, I didn't book a room. You guys think there would be any left. Guess it can't hurt to try, huh? So, are you guys gonna stop by the Cafe for the pre-show, cause I'm thinking a $1.75 for margaritas sounds pretty good.

I booked two rooms at the Best Western Music City Inn prior to tickets going on sale and there's a chance that I may cancel one. I'll let you know.

LOL! Just trying to determine how many margaritas I should drink before the concert and if I will be sobered up before its over and I get to drink again. Looks like quite a few, but then again, I do want to remember it. Hmmmm..

doesnt sound like this IS your 1st concert to me! I remember (during lucid moments)my 1st-in 1983 in Memphis. NEVER KNEW I had so many kindred spirits who knew all the words too! Rained the dickens, that one (and da*n near every one after that-matter of fact) hmmm.
Did ya find a room yet?
