I have done a couple. I think Hertz and Enterprise, but maybe one was Budget. Never had a problem. Off the plane, on the bus, to the counter, in the car, drive to hotel. Brought my own GPS. And since I was driving the car to the venue, I got the insurance. Cost a bit, but the peace of mind was worth it.
