Two of my favorite Nantucket houses are available to rent in September. What to do? What to do???drunkpirate66 wrote:No better place to party than New England in the Summer. Wellfleet to Nantucket to Great Woods . . . there is no place(s) I would rather be.
Rent them now.ScarletB wrote:Two of my favorite Nantucket houses are available to rent in September. What to do? What to do???drunkpirate66 wrote:No better place to party than New England in the Summer. Wellfleet to Nantucket to Great Woods . . . there is no place(s) I would rather be.
Not every weekend......just the 3 best guess ones. And, of course, a hotel room on the Cape for the Sunday after......ScarletB wrote:I know for a fact that one of our southern friends has!Saltx3 wrote:Bill - I think a lot of folks have already booked every weekend from June - Augbodypainter wrote:Should the RR be called for reservations yet?
I love the Downeyflake but every single time I've tried to go there I'm too hungry to wait in the long line!drunkpirate66 wrote:Rent them now.ScarletB wrote:Two of my favorite Nantucket houses are available to rent in September. Plan a nice meal at La Languedoc
See who is playing at the Chicken Box.
Go there.
Drink too much.
Make friends.
Find an after party.
Go there.
Get silly.
Drive out to Brant Point to watch the sunrise.
Breakfast at Downyflake (or Island Kitchen. Can't go wrong with either).
Sleep.
Hit Cisco or Surfside beach.
Sleep.
Repeat.
Hence the reservations some of us have already made.BottleofRum wrote:Toby Keith is playing at Great Woods on Friday Aug 14th so if the Buffett date on the 15th is true the hotels will be pretty packed that weekend.
The hotels will be busy because people who enjoy Toby Keith's and Jimmy Buffett's music might want to go to their shows and then get a hotel nearby so they have a place to sleep after the show that isn't too far away from the venue.ScarletB wrote:Hence the reservations some of us have already made.BottleofRum wrote:Toby Keith is playing at Great Woods on Friday Aug 14th so if the Buffett date on the 15th is true the hotels will be pretty packed that weekend.

for a Red Roof a bit high , probably will go up even more once Buffett confirmed. I'm guessing Toby fans aren't rushing to book rooms yet.bodypainter wrote:The Red Roof cost 129 for a king.I think it was 89 last year.TommyBahama wrote:Toby Keith was announced a few weeks ago , when the announced the Country Mega ticket.
