No better place to party than New England in the Summer. Wellfleet to Nantucket to Great Woods . . . there is no place(s) I would rather be.

Two of my favorite Nantucket houses are available to rent in September. What to do? What to do??? [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Rent them now.

Plan a nice meal at La Languedoc

See who is playing at the Chicken Box.

Go there.

Drink too much.

Make friends.

Find an after party.

Go there.

Get silly.

Drive out to Brant Point to watch the sunrise.

Breakfast at Downyflake (or Island Kitchen. Can't go wrong with either).

Sleep.

Hit Cisco or Surfside beach.

Sleep.

Repeat.

Not every weekend......just the 3 best guess ones. And, of course, a hotel room on the Cape for the Sunday after...... 8)

I love the Downeyflake but every single time I've tried to go there I'm too hungry to wait in the long line! :D
My Mom loves it there and since she's still healthy I'd like to go again. I'm waiting on the price for a house in Madaket that we rented once before. It's right next door to the spot where that big house finally fell into the ocean a few years ago.

If the show is August 15, I'm out. It's back to school time and I'm knee deep in workshops.

Maybe a June phockling?

Toby Keith is playing at Great Woods on Friday Aug 14th so if the Buffett date on the 15th is true the hotels will be pretty packed that weekend.

The hotels will be busy because people who enjoy Toby Keith's and Jimmy Buffett's music might want to go to their shows and then get a hotel nearby so they have a place to sleep after the show that isn't too far away from the venue.

Anyone else miss Ravi?

for a Red Roof a bit high , probably will go up even more once Buffett confirmed. I'm guessing Toby fans aren't rushing to book rooms yet.
