Anyone else feel like the tailgating was really short this year? I don't know if I hit a time warp or something, but we got there right at 11 and I swear it felt like we never even made it all the way through our own row before everyone was breaking down and going in.

With an opening act at 7p most people broke down earlier than usual.

I wouldn't be surprised if Great Woods requires an opening act to cut down on the tailgating.

Couldn't they just have Buffett start the show at 7?

Open the lots at 8am, start the show at 3pm, done by 6pm and in bed by 8:30pm just like the hurricane show.

Completely agree. This gives us a full day of tailgating. A concert. Then an OPTION of crashing or keeping the party going all night instead of sitting in traffic leaving the venue. The Hurricane show was the best because it got us all out of bed, we partied hard, had a GREAT show, then had all late afternoon and night to do what we wanted. It ruled!
