I am thinking it has something to do with Cuba. I know his grandfather spent a lot of time there. Now that the embargo is loosening, maybe he is going to visit? Sail the same route his grandfather did? Of course if it were Cuba, I would think he would have used Havana Daydreamin, or would that be too obvious?

He's already been and more than once evidently - not to say he's not planning on going back. Circa 1998 around the time that A Pirate Looks at 50 came out, he went to cover the pope's visit for Rolling Stone. And at the time he said, "it's great to be back."

Even though relations are warming, US citizens still can't go on "vacation" there, at least directly - there's always the Mexico departure route, but cultural and sporting visits are still allowed. Just a matter of time though, I think.

Is the video supposed to be a true clue? Does anyone recognize the marina? It's hard to tell but I didn't notice any registration numbers on the bows of the boats at the first of the clip. If this is a clue I don't think this is Cuba...and that's the big "if". Bimini? Naw. Too little.

I don't think Key West has the recourses(as far as loading ships) to have Cruises leave out of Key West. My guess if that's it , it would be Miami

docking yes , they do have ships coming in , but they don't have the cranes, access , and the resources to load a ship. unless they build a whole new port to handle the work of loading and unloading a ship.

There are other day/dinner cruises out of Key West.
They have to load/unload supplies, etc.
It's still my guess.

Or maybe he's buying an island in the keys for a new resort?

That is the 7 mile bridge.

Why would it be a cruise? I'm not a business man but would it make sense to team up with one of the biggest cruise companies- where they are putting your company on many ships only to turn around and compete with them? Just doesn't add up. Obviously it is something in Key West. I just can't put my finger on it.

This ones really for you... If true, it would not be business related and it would involve Jimmy playing acoustically on a bar stool in key west the entire a1a album!

I think I got it!!! Like some other recording artists that still like to entertain, but don't like the stress of being on the road.....Jimmy is going the Branson route (example Willie Nelson, Andy Williams, etc.)...he is going to open his own theatre/restaurant in Key West and entertain on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The rest of the week will be filled by other top rock artists.
