Anybody know how the tailgate scene in Houston is compared to Dallas/Frisco....I've heard they really have a limit on what can be down but I haven't been to one in Houston so just checking

the tailgate is a lot more subdued than Frisco. They open the lots around noon and you have to be cleared out that night. It's usually one big lot. Of all the tailgates I've gone to (I've done all the "big" shows) this one is the most chill. Still, it is a good time. It's all about the people you hang out with.

Everyone that is going, please be careful and prepared.
88/76 with 30% chance of rain.
That might not sound like much, but the Woodlands area had flooding overnight and it has been raining for days.
There is another storm on the way for this afternoon, so just be aware of what is going on in the area.
If you have lawn tickets, just know that the hill is probably a mud pit and slippery.

8) 8) The lawn won't be so bad. It is sloped well and is textured with sand. Nevertheless, we will be brining a tarp because we have two 'keets in our phlock.

Tomorrow is game day! Let's get ready.

Part of our group is leaving Corpus Christi at 9am and another part is coming from the part of the Hill Country that had colossal flooding. Everyone take your time and travel carefully. Let's have a good and safe show!

Sand?
Last time I was there, it was grass.
People with tarps/plastic were sliding down the hill because it was so slippery.

It is grass. But it is grass growing over a sand textured soil. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't tiled (subsoil drainage)as well.

It will be damp but not too bad. They have too many concerts there to not be prepared for this.

I actually heard that it is a little dead. However, we took the 'keets for a swim and are about to go have Cajun food. Our entire phlock made it here and is ready to go!
