Yes. So weird, right?
I've never seen Huey Lewis. Still not going to GW.

He puts on a great show....well, most of the time.
We saw one show that was pushing a new CD and that's all he talked about and played. Yes, the songs were good, but most people wanted to hear his classics.
But the other shows we have seen were outstanding!

LIPH wrote:I was just listening to the radio while I finished my last cup of coffee. They played a song, I don't know the title or who sings it, with the line "get your little fine ass on the step and shimmy up inside." I've heard the song before and they don't edit that line. But since I moved down here, whenever I hear Zac Brown's song "Toes" on the radio they always edit it so that he's singing "got my toes in the water, toes in the sand." Why is it OK to say "ass" in one song but not in another? It's like the rock stations in NY that always edit the Steve Miller song from "funky $h!t" to "funky stuff" but never edit The Who's "who the f**k are you." Makes no sense.
Why is it OK to have Titty Bar on every street corner, but you can't show a nipple during the Superbowl?

I'll take a stab at an answer:

When you let religionists influence policymakers and let policymakers base their decisions on their own fundamentalist religious beliefs the you are going to end up with dog's breakfast of moralistic legislation, especially as morals cannot and should not be legislated...

So here is a snow related question (while we dodge two cyclones here in Oz). Is the photo of Niagra Falls freezing over real?

Really truly?

That is absolutely gob-smacking.

I get wanting to see it, I don't get living there :)
