Good afternoon. Due to the weather hitting the east coast this weekend, it is with great regret that I have decided to stay in Florida until Monday.

With all the cold weather we've been having, I was going to make a pot of chili yesterday. Since Wednesday was "free dinner at my sister's house" day and she gave me leftovers, that plan was put on hold until today. The chili has been simmering and it smells pretty good. Chili and beer for dinner the next couple of days.

Such a hardship for you and your family!!
I don't know how you made such a difficult decision.
However, isn't it cold in FL, too??? [smilie=beadygrinner.gif]

Yes it's cold, but going up to the high 70's tomorrow. Everyone's getting better, just slowly

With beans. I know, that's not real chili but that's the way I've always had it and since I started making my own that's the way I make it. I'm a rebel.

Here, too. And it lasts a few days. Serve it over rice or in bread bowls for Mr. Lime. Ohio style for the keet.

I vote for beans. And shredded cheddar, jalapenos, and sour cream.

Yes ma'am, it is wine-thirty in these parts.

My car got hit while parked in town this week but I am not letting it bug me. If that's the worst that happens with all this weather we're ahead of the game.

How's NJ?
