It's almost here!
Officially one week away. My friend, Danielle, & I are headed to Cinci on Monday and since we are staying at the Comfort Inn in Newport, we plan to walk down to JB Fins that night for a couple drinks. Do any of you plan to do the same? I know there were a bunch of Parrotheads there last time. If you'd like to meet up with us, please let us know and we will exchange contact information. This is Danielle's first Buffett experience.
We don't have any tailgating gear (mostly because I go alone to shows) but if you're willing to adopt us, we will bring a bunch of party favors this time.
Looks like it's going to be 86 degrees and partly cloudy, which is fine by me because the heat index has been reaching the 100s here in Nashville.
Can't wait to see everyone.. meet new people and hope to also see some old faces.

I was thinking the same thing. Especially since I'm craving some Shrimp Boil right now.. heh. Out of the group I met last year, I think Kasey is the only one I know for sure who is going this year. Don't know what happened to everyone else. I'll likely be bringing a Buffett Virgin from Canada down with me. We might hit up the Casino Pre-party Monday night, doubt we'll stay late since we plan on being in the lots early Tuesday. Won't have an elaborate setup either but I'm sure we can all get together at some point.

The more the merrier! We may try to hit the casino for a little while too, just depends on what time we get down there and how well we prepare over the weekend instead of waiting until Monday afternoon to get it all ready!

Everyone is invited to stop by and visit us also. My wife and I, along with friends who will be down throughout the day, will be set up in the big lot. We'll have a black Rav4 decked out with a 20 ft. flagpole along with a shark fin. Not sure if she'll be with me in the morning as I like to be in line for the lot by 5am! It's also our anniversary and we may try and make it to the pre concert party at Belterra Monday. We'll have the music playin loud and a drink in each hand! I'll try and post a pic a little later

Which one is the big lot? When in line, facing Riverbend, we were in the lot on the right last year... It was the first year we got it right and got there at the crack of dawn ! We're still getting the hang of this after 4 years.

Alright!Now there's some buzz on this thread.We will stop in at Margaritaville for awhile,but up early for the tailgate.I like meeting my BN family,so even if you aren't getting painted,stop in my pop up.If there's a line,walk around it.

Both lots are hopping pretty early. The one on the right as you drive down Sutton toward Kellogg is certainly bigger than the one on the left. Both are good though. I was in the Right lot last year, I think the local Parrothead Club set up shop in the Left lot.

Thanks so much for the offers to adopt us. We will also bring some goodies... alcohol and snacks! I'm hoping Ringling comes again this year because I have a rare Davidoff Royal Salomone for him to smoke. But he said he isn't sure if he can make it.
As for the shrimp boil, I was hoping for the exact same thing. It was so good last year!
If you want to meet up at some point, Monday night and/or Tuesday for tailgating, I trust to put my number on here, as it's been on here before for a Philly tailgate group so feel free to reach me! I will also try to reach out to yall via private message this weekend!
