Does anybody here trade the markets?
Specifically, is anybody here a graduate of "OTA" and is currently trading in equities, forex, futures, and/or options?

I'm not a graduate of OTA, but I've messed around with future, options and such. You can make a lot of money quickly, IF you know what you're doing and have serious discipline.A1A-BJB wrote:Specifically, is anybody here a graduate of "OTA" and is currently trading in equities, forex, futures, and/or options?
It's also a great way to lose a lot of money fast if you don't know what you're doing, aren't disciplined, and/or catch a bad break at the wrong time.
Whatcha got going on?

Hello,
I don't trade but I've work in the futures industry for over 30 years. What do you need to know?

I used to work at the CBOE. I prefer Options. "cause if you know what You are doing You limit Your risk. If You buy Calls or Puts. The only risk You have is Your investment. If You "write" calls or puts Your profit is limited but not Your risk. I traded public orders for a long time. I still miss the Yelling and swearing. I miss the presure. There is a book on opitons (The options bible) Called "options as a strategic investment". I'd look to the CBOE web-site. Futures are another investment tool You could use. Just study and study some more. Good luck.
