Glad to see he's coming back to Irvine Meadows. We know Jimmy loves Orange County. The best tailgating in Southern California.

I just saw this posting! This is GREAT NEWS! I am here in Orange County and cannot wait to fire up my motorhome for another legendary tailgate party in Irvine! There are many others who will be more "in the know" about parking lot rules and hours before I ever know, so please share with this posting group as the time gets closer to party time! Awesome!

We got tickets...Orchestra section. Row V. Seats 311-313. Way left of center, but not very close to the side either, which is good. The only orchestra seats that came up for us. We were using 2 phones and the computer...

We'll see everyone at the show!

Hey, I noticed that the start time for the show is 7pm....all previous years it's been 8pm....Is it because of the development around the amphitheatre forces an earlier curfew? That cuts into the tailgating big time...

Tickets in hand! The Mistress of Agave and I will be in attendance. I noticed your first concert at the Pacific Ampitheater...we were there too although not our first concert. Let the West Coast tour begin..AGAIN...it's about time!

The Land Yacht (and hopefully our crew) will be at all the Calif concerts, yay!

Ah, Irvine. I remember the good old days of legendary tailgate parties. These days the Irvine police walk three-wide through the aisles enforcing the zero tolerance policy and making everyone pour out the contents of their drink cups.

SDPirate40 is going, now SDfinsBus! lol for us in our 45' Prevost tour bus with FINS Bus plates. Next stop Tuesday at Jones Beach in NY, then Paris, then Santa Barbara, then Hollywood, the Irvine, which will make it 160 shows ! Hope to see our old friends. Gavan and Heather

Just saw Kid Rock at Irvine last night...so I have some parking info... They now fill a dirt lot first. For Kid Rock, lot opened at 4pm. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes for the dirt lot to fill up before people were allowed to park in the main lot. My wife and I didn't want to be in the dirt, so we paid $20 to be in the preferred area right in front of the entrance. Since this show was a sell out (and so will Jimmy's show be)...I'm sure they will handle this in the same manor. So I recommend to pay to be in the preferred lot since it is paved and is where the party is at. I have no idea where they will put the motor homes...for Kid Rock, they were next to the preferred parking area, which is good (however, there was only around 5 motorhomes here). I just hope we can get in earlier than the 3pm time they opened last time...this show is on a Saturday, so I'm hoping for a noon opening time.

Finally pulled the trigger and bought the tickets. Glad he is finally back in Irvine again.

I remember the really good old Irvine Meadows days when I trailered in our 29" SeaRay, "Island Dancer" and "anchored" in the parking lot! Days when if you did not arrive by 11 am, you were lame. Now I drive my Prevost in circles starting at Noon and hope for the parking tsunami and they let us in! These cops are too uptight....

We're going for sure from Boise, Idaho.... Looking to take in a little weather that'll suit my clothes, and ready to have fun with everybody we know or don't.... Hope there's good tailgating, at least we'll look and expect to find a place when we arrive, and I know we'll find it, in fact I'll know when I find it, we're gonna have a good time!!! .... Never been to Irvine, but we're flexible and will go with the flow of the tailgating and show...Hoping for good weather and great times!

The Live Nation website now shows an 8 pm start time...thank goodness for the extra hour of tailgating!

Have been going to the Irvine Buffett Concert for Years. Last year we lost our Friend who always organized the Parking Lot Party for us. He had one of the first Shot Skis. He will be missed and we will be definitely doing a few Shot of Tequila for him.
