Buffett Bash at Two Seasons Bowl is no longer ! So last year we teamed up to help the Walworth County Alliance For Children With Lake Lawn! Called Shake of the Lake! And that is still in the works for this year at this time! However I have just booked the Walworth County Fairgrounds campground for the weekend of August 20th, 21st, and 22nd. JB Is at Alpine on Saturday August 22nd! So I have 250+ campsites with electric and Water hookups. We have music for Thursday and Friday afternoon. Then Friday night. We go to Lake Lawn Lodge for music there! Including the Boat Drunks, Roger Jokela, Southern Drawl Band, Bamboozlers, Bela Cane, Tombeau Road , Compass Rose Band . Also I have 5 Coach buses on reserve. So bring your stuff and put it under the bus and ride in the comfort of air conditioning. With a bathroom on board too. So come up Thursday take Friday off! We will have music at Alpine too. I will have 280 seats on coach Buses with plenty of room under the bus to take your stuff. This is our 10 year of doing this !! There will be transportation to and from Lake Lawn Lodge on Friday night! Then even if you don't go to the Alpine Show on Saturday head back to Lake Lawn for a great line up of Country with TBA Soon! Then it's the Southern Drawl Band to headline the night! And finish off your weekend and plan on heading back to Lakelawn on Sunday for the #1 Trop Rock band The Boat Drunks closing out the weekend on Sunday afternoon! We're considering skipping the Friday night hoopla this year. We will be in Lake Geneva, but instead of the usual party before the party, we may just enjoy a nice meal and keep the evening low key. Yikes, I sound/act more like an old fart with each passing year!

Never made it to Alpine, but have entertained the aviation crowd by cranking up the Sirius boom box WAY loud for the live RM broadcast while camping at EAA Oshkosh in the past.
Had so much fun at Detroit last Thursday and after a day of rest once again at Tinley Park Saturday that I'm SERIOUSLY considering a road trip to WI August 22.
Too bad it's a month after EAA this year , and just two weeks before a wedding in MN we will be guests at in September, but hey.....it's August, it's Jimmy, and only a 6 hr. drive away.
Familiar with TP and Pine Knob/DTE, and now West River Front Park as well........anything special I need to know about the tailgate scene at Alpine Valley?
