We are waiting on news of friends.

Sure is. Given the path and intensity of the cyclone, I am fearful that most of the image is no longer there.

A lot of destruction but not as much as was being reported - keeping in mind this is a built up urban area.
The surrounding villages are made of corrugated iron sheeting and plywood. I hold grave fears for these places.
