The weather guessers were wrong again. Yesterday the high was supposed to be 65, it made it to 70 in the afternoon. Today the high was supposed to be 68, it's already 73.

Thanks. It really did just pop into my head last night while I was listening to the set list show on RM after work.

Speaking of which ... Jimmy's people already made the YouTube video private

so if anybody wanted to grab it from there, too late.

I'd like to enjoy my weekend with the porch door open ... it's 33 blippin' degrees out.

At least maybe today we won't have hours of graupel.

Good afternoon everyone. Sounds like we have a variety of weather, a lot of upcoming birthdays and a few rounds of coffee in so far. Kevin and I both have a work holiday so we are just hanging out. Problem is we have really bad colds so the day feels wasted.

I will get something done even if it darn near kills me. It's too hard for me to sit around

I got the one on the left. And no, I don't know how to play, I've never played a note on the guitar in my life. I figured I don't play golf and there's only so much hot wings and beer I can have at Hooters so I needed a hobby.

I've been thinking about doing this for a few years, it was time to stop thinking and do it. I wanted to get the sunburst but they didn't have one in stock and I didn't want to wait any longer. They had a black Fender acoustic but only in a more expensive model and since I'm about as much of a beginner as a beginner can be I didn't want to spend that much.

I have a friend in Austin that gives lessons. Might be far to commute, but he is really good
