It's on several Lyle Lovett albums...not on any Buffett albums that I'm aware of.

I think the original Lyle Lovett recording is on an album called Pontiac from the late 1990's.

I saw a video of the two of them singing it together on a screen in a Margaritaville Cafe..... it was an interesting pairing, Lyle being tall and lanky and Jimmy being neither. I've tried to find a copy of the video with no luck.
