Working this morning and waiting for the electrician to get here, we have some minor tweaks to make in this kitchen. Took the afternoon off so we can do a bar crawl around town.
What's happening in NYC?

Yawn.......good morning folks.
Another late night but our first James Taylor concert was worth it! Hard not to compare to Sir Paul from June 21. This one was much more mellow, smaller venue, and shorter but awesome on it's own (plus ALOT cheaper) !!
Off to the gym, then watching our Little Skeeter for a few hours before turning him over to his other grandparents while his mom & dad get a much needed weekend away at the beach. Gotta go start to pack for our New Jersey road trip to visit Sistergoldenhair (and Mr. Goldenhair) -- WHOOHOO x3

Morning Salt. I would love to see James Taylor. But I'll be seeing Sam Bush and his band next week. That's going to be fun!
LR, how many bars are you going to?
Looking forward to a super short work day. Then heading down to Baltimore to hang out with a friend. Hoping the train to Penn Station isn't crowded. I hear there's going to be some sort of ticker tape parade later on.

Good morning. I hope the Pelicans get it together before tomorrow night's game, I'd like to see them win for a change. They've lost 4 in a row and haven't scored a run for 24 innings.

They had the best record in the league the first half of the season so they already qualified for the playoffs but since the All-Star game a little more than 2 weeks ago they have the worst record in the league.

Probably only three for me, I lean toward the ones with outdoor seating.
The parade is for the women's soccer team.

Aloha! A beautiful, cool morning here at the Jersey Shore! We turned off the AC yesterday.
A bar crawl sounds fun, Nan! Linnie, having seen Paul McCartney and James Taylor, yes, sooo different! Paul was all about the big production, awesome! The fireworks during Live and Let Die, the crowd singing along for Hey Jude, so much fun. He is a great showman. And James had an intimate rapport with the audience. I think he has one of the most beautiful voices in music. So clear. Love them both!
Looking forward to Saltx3 and PAParrot's arrival here at the Boondocks! We are warming up the shark shack with friends over tonight!
Man, HOG, I don't remember you being such a baseball fan! Ever seen Bull Durham?? Ultimate minor league baseball movie. And of course with Kevin Costner , always a plus for me!
Have a nice day, BN buddies!

Good Morning BN, HAPPY FRIDAY!!!! Another hot summer day here on the gulf coast. Going out on the bay today, sailing over to Pensacola Beach to watch the annual Blue Angel air show at the beach. I'll post some pics if I can find some kid to show me how.

Somewhere there's a bus with a dent shaped like my body on the front of it.

I've always been a baseball fan but I'm a Mets fan. They've been so bad for so long I couldn't justify paying major league prices, plus whatever a round trip ticket would cost on the LIRR to get to Citi Field, to see a minor league quality team. Here, the ballpark is less than 10 miles away. Tickets are only $11, $13 and $15 and if I buy them online instead of at the box office there's a $2 discount. And the games don't take 3 1/2 hours.
I don't think I ever saw Bull Durham. I guess that means if I did see it, it didn't make much of an impression on me.
